TarFest: Festival of Film, Music & Art October 21, 2004

From a reception that includes the Craft and Folk Art Museum to the newest Lawerence Asher Gallery that houses emerging artists. Other highlights include live musical performances and D.J.'s at The Congo Room. A 9Star extreme skate park; outdoor screenings of eclectic shorts from local and international filmmakers; DJ Frosty and DJ Lillyanne wil be "mixing-up" the tar at the La Brea Tar Pits. TarFest 2004 would not be complete without a live cricket match demonstration at Sunday Family Funday.
