You are invited to take part in our breakfast seminar here on April 13 featuring Don Tapscott. Don co-founded the business research and consulting firm Digital 4Sight in 1994. Don is President of New Paradigm Learning Corporation and Adjunct Professor of Strategic Management here at Rotman. He has co-written several bestsellers including "Digital Capital: Harnessing the Power of Business Webs". His latest book was published in December 2006: "Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything" (Portfolio).

Registration and continental breakfast will be available from 7:30 until 7:55. At 8:00 sharp Don will present a session on how collaboration tools can foster new levels of teamwork. He'll share how companies are grappling with the technology and the ways it affects corporate culture. He'll build on the lessons in "Wikinomics" to show how "mass collaboration" makes it possible for leaders across industries to drive changes in markets and rewrite the rules of competition. He'll then open up the discussion for questions and comments from the audience. The event will adjourn no later than 9:30.

The cost to participate is $99 per person plus GST. For alumni of the Rotman School or the University of Toronto the cost is $79 per person plus GST. This includes continental breakfast, the seminar and one signed copy of "Wikinomics" (valued at $34.45). "Dress code" is business casual. Underground parking is available. The entrance is just south of the Rotman School. Additional copies of "Wikinomics" will be available for sale at the event for $32.50 plus GST. Net proceeds from registration fees and book sales will be invested in our Rotman Vision Fund where they can be directed to the School's most pressing needs.
