Tango With The National Chamber Ensemble May 7, 2011

The National Chamber Ensemble (NCE), Artisphere's Ensemble in Residence, presents an exciting, sensual evening of Tango music and dance with The Tango Ambassadors Pontitango dancing to music performed by critically acclaimed pianist José Cáceres and ensemble luminary’s guitarist Andrew Pal, cellist Lukasz Szyrner, and violinist and artistic director Leo Sushansky. A wine and cheese reception follows the performance.

On the program: Carlos Gardel's Tango "Por Una Cabeza," featured in the film "Scent of a Woman", works by Juan Jose Castro, Alberto Ginastera, Astor Piazzolla, and by popular demand, Piazzolla's "Four Seasons in Buenos Aires" and more.
