Tango, Swing and More! An Evening of Couples Dancing February 28, 2010

Dance the night away! Tangonero, a new Argentine Tango band based in San Francisco, will perform tangos, waltzes, foxtrots, and swing for your dancing enjoyment. Tangonero specializes in classic tango - a genre that fuses intense passion with quiet tenderness, alternating sharp percussive rhythms with slow nostalgic melodies. It squeezes your heart to tears and then sets your feet to dancing!

Igor Polk, tango instructor extraordinaire, will give a FREE introductory couple dance tango lesson between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. This is something you won't want to miss!

Bring your favorite food to share and enjoy a potluck with new friends and old. Wine and light snacks provided.
