The Tampa Bay Derby Darlins are part of the newest incarnation of Roller Derby. The Darlins are still offering up that good old fashioned roller derby excitement of the past, but this unrehearsed, all-female full-contact sport is raising the bar for entertainment value in sports.

You will like them on their wheels. You will like how great it feels. You won't have to eat it with some hams but you will love Mean Legs and Jams

Temple Terrace, FL – On Saturday, June 13:
Your Darlins will skate with countless whams,
When we play in “Mean Legs and Jams.”
This Seuss-ish double-header bout
Will carry a great deal of clout.
Switchblade Sisters just can’t wait
To send Cigar City Mafia to their fate.
The resurrected Black Widows are skating strong,
But visiting Gainesville Roller Rebels could prove they're wrong.

Skateplex (5311 East Busch Blvd, Temple Terrace) is where the show takes place;
When doors open at 8 PM, come show your face.
Fun halftime games will ring your bell;
Raffle tickets with exciting prizes we will sell.
Butterfly Challenge* is the charity of choice,
So bring your dough to give them a voice.

Bring your lawn chair for a closeup seat,
But be careful where you place your feet!
Advance tickets are $10 for a whirl,
Purchase them from your favorite derby girl.
Or on bout day at the door,
Tickets will be 12 bucks for sure.
Military, students, and kids (under 18) won’t pay as much,
Tots under 5 are free as such.
After the bout, head to Gaspar's Patio Grille (8448 N 56th St).
This bar and restaurant our frantic fans will fill!

For more information or to purchase tickets, call Skateplex at (813) 876-5826 or log on to www.TampaRollerDerby.com.
