Tameside Veterans Day June 28, 2008

Celebrations will include a short service at the war memorial in Victoria Park, Denton followed by performances from Denton Brass Band and songs from Dame Vera Lynn Tribute singer Lorrie Brown. A huge temporary dance floor will be erected in the park from which there will be dancing from the pupils of The Dance Emporium and Jive dancing from 'Funki Feathers'. Put your dancing shoes on and join us in celebrating this special day. Parking available in surrounding streets of the park and nearby pay & display car parks.
