Talk - The land of Genghis Khan and his nomads beckons. Wide open pastures adorned with hundreds of bleating sheep, nomadic feasts and horse races, traditional yurt tents in which milk is constantly broiling to produce cheese, these are just a few images of Mongolia that Mandip Singh Soin, 'India's Most Versatile Adventurer' and Founder and Director of Ibex Expeditions has brought back with him after leading a successful expedition through the Eastern Gobi's Ikh Naht Nature Reserve through the Manhan Sands to the Norther Khan Khentii Steppe (birthplace of Genghis Khan) beside the Tuul River. Mandip Singh Soin, Managing Director of Ibex Expeditions, an adventure and eco-travel company based in India led this journey from Inner Mongolia into the Eastern Gobi riding horse and bactrian camels, living in traditional gers, meeting local nomads, listening to throat songs, and traversing diverse landscapes in strictly protected nature reserves, from sand dunes to high pine forests as well as summiting the Zorgol Hairhan mountain, the highest in the province. Finally, you will also have the rare chance to see the rare Ibex and Argali sheep in the wilderness.
