Hiroko Karuno, a paper thread spinner, natural dyer and weaver from Kyoto and Toronto, will give a slide talk on the historical use of Japanese handmade paper, paper thread and paper cloth or shifu. Organized as part of the World Washi Summit; June 7-15. Tickets may be purchased at the TMC’s front desk. Please arrive early, seating is limited.
