Taking Care of Your Heart: Women’s Cardiac Health March 26, 2013

The next event in Banner Boswell Medical Center’s Taking Care of Your Heart Series will focus on women’s cardiac health and will be taught by Lucina Medina R.N.

Taking Care of Your Heart is a free lecture series offered monthly that explores the heart and how to better manage chronic heart disease at home. Each class includes a formal presentation on various aspects of heart disease management, followed by the opportunity to participate in small group discussions with clinical experts, including registered nurses, pharmacists, exercise specialists and nutritionists. Individuals who recently experienced a heart attack or those who suffer from heart failure are encouraged to attend.

All classes will be held in Banner Boswell’s Memorial Hall on the first floor of the Support Services Building. Participants are encouraged to sign up for multiple classes, as presentation topics will vary throughout the year.
