Taiwanese band Won Fu performs at benefit concert at UC Berkeley, Oct 16, Fri at 7pm October 16, 2009

The Taiwanese American Student Association (TASA) at UC Berkeley will host Won Fu during their Oct 16th benefit concert for Typhoon relief. Won Fu’s first US tour is part of a cultural initiative to promote the island's popular culture overseas via music, especially independent music. Won Fu’s eclectic mix of uplifting jangle pop, with tongue-in-cheek wit and retro chic is wildly popular in Taiwan. Their music is fueled by the members’ happy-go-lucky nature and their positive mentality, fun attitude, and wacky style.
