Tahoe Paddle Fest’s Mission
To showcase indigenous and non-motorized watercraft from around the world, on the shores of awe-inspiring Lake Tahoe, in a fun and engaging celebration of native crafts, arts & culture. The Tahoe Paddle Fest hopes to encourage children and adults to safely participate in healthy and sustainable outdoor activities and to connect with traditions of past while embracing the future.

The Tahoe Paddle Fest (TPF) is an annual weekend-long celebration of non-motorized watercraft, consisting of watercraft demonstrations, competitive paddling events, workshops and exhibitions featuring indigenous boat building and crafts, and an exhibition with vendors, food, music & entertainment. The event will embrace the cultural and competitive role of watercraft in indigenous cultures as well as modern times, from dugout canoes to standup surf paddling and outrigger racing. We will also promote safe boating and the importance of checking all watercraft for invasive mussels that could destroy Tahoe’s sensitive ecosystem.

DO NOT MISS: Closing Ceremonies
Sunday around 5 we will have a big "Paddle Out" on anything that floats. Kayaks, surfboards, paddleboards, etc. Come join us for the spiritual epicenter of Lake Tahoe - the most beautiful alpine lake in the World!
