Tahoe Comedy North presents Gabriel Rutledge June 30, 2011

Tahoe Comedy North brings laughter to the Crystal Bay Casino in the beautiful Crown Room on North Lake Tahoe. Doors open at 7:00 and show starts at 8:00.

Tahoe Comedy North is proud to present headlining comedian, Gabriel Rutledge. In 2004 Gabriel was crowned the winner of the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition. In 2007 Gabriel was selected to perform at the HBO/TBS Comedy Festival in Las Vegas. In 2008 he made his debut on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio show, as well as the Bob and Tom T.V. show on WGN America. And in 2009 Gabriel appeared on "Live at Gotham" on Comedy Central. Gabriel’s material often takes an honest and self-deprecating look at his own life including his marriage. Joining Gabriel will be host, Owen Straw. Owen easily conquers every audience he steps in front of with funny stories and word play, uncovering new perspectives on work, dating, politics, and living healthy. His laid back approach blurs the lines between improv and prepared material, making every performance unique. Darlene Pearson will be your guest comedian for the evening. Darlene relocated to Tahoe City from Seattle five years ago after meeting and marrying a fabulous local gent. Darlene's "hats" include Psychotherapist, actor, art collector and dealer. She has more than 20 years experience in public exposure as an actor in theater, T.V. and life. She is a member of AFTRA and has also performed in local theater productions. Darlene has lived "large" and "small" and will include those living experiences as well as tips for women on how to maintain a passionate relationship with life and your partner after 50, or 60 or? She will talk about her experiences since moving to Tahoe - you will probably recognize yourself in some of these tales.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the show and are available at the Crystal Bay Club, Incline Cleaners, Grog & Grist, Incline Spirits & Cigars, Noah’s Video, New Moon Natural Foods and the Visitor’s Centers in Incline Village and Tahoe City.
