On Saturday, February 14, Carnegie Hall Family Concert presents Toronto's Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra with an afternoon concert of fun and great music. Introduce a young person to the magic of music with this family concert centered on Handel’s Water Music. Jump aboard imaginary barges on the River Thames with the Baroque orchestra and the Tafelmusik chamber choir. One hour prior to the concert, the Carnegie Hall education series will present, in Zankel Hall, an introduction to Baroque instruments - the Baroque horn and woodwinds.
