Tacoma Highland Games Benefit 'Pipes In The Park' September 27, 2009

On June 27th, $17,000 was stolen from the Tacoma Highland Games Association. This constitutes the vast majority of their annual income and puts them in a difficult financial position for next year.

Seattle's hard stompin' Celtic rock band, along with the Tacoma Scots, Clan Gordon Pipe Band. Olympia Highlanders, Red McWilliams, Jug of Punch, and Curran's School of Dance, will be taking part in "Pipes In The Park" to help raise money for the Tacoma Highland Games Association. All the bands and performers are donating their time and talent for this event.

While this is a free event, there is a suggested donation of $10.00 to help the Tacoma Highland Games Association recover what was stolen from them.

Join us at Vassault Park in Tacoma (North 37th at Pearl St.) from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Ockham's Razor will be performing for an hour starting at 3:45pm.
