"Taal 2009 - Experience the unity of beats from around the world" April 26, 2009

Apsaras student organization of UC-Davis presents:
"TAAL 2009 - Experience the unity of beats from around the world".

Sunday April 26th at 2 pm

Davis, CA 95616

Featuring different cultural dances by Apsaras of UC-Davis, Kalanjali School of dance, Nritta School of Dance, Bakahatsu Japanese Taiko Drumming, Persian dance, Samba, Belly dancing, Africo-Cubano dances.
All ticket sales will be donated to the Davis-based 501(c)3 organization Sahaya International (www.sahaya.org) to support orphans and HIV-infected children.
Sahaya’s founder, Dr. Koen Van Rompay, an HIV researcher at UCD will highlight how the proceeds will help such kids.


Tickets: $5 students/ $7 general in advance; $10 at door.
