Bring linens, unscented oil, and four hand towels.

Learn a unique massage protocol that integrates various healing modalities to restore the harmonious flow of life within.

We will focus on combining a Western oil massage with the benefit of Asian bodywork methods. Some of these tools include: balancing the flow of Qi; energizing the meridians; removing the emotional tension associated with pain in specific parts of the body, and the proper applications of therapeutic pressure points.

The front upper-body is considered the most vulnerable part of the body. The location of the internal organs are in the abdomen region and the chest; the areas in which we manufacture and maintain life. Therefore, very commonly, we hold pains, fears and survival tension in these areas.

The focus of this workshop is to nurture the life-giving systems of the body; release tension, energize the senses and increase vitality.
We will explore abdomen massage for the life-giving system; head and face massage, including face-lift acupressure points and a rejuvenating facial mask.

Approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education provider and the California Board of Registered Nursing provider #11227 (add $10.00 for CEUs)
