New Jersey's Symphony X has made a name for itself on the international metal scene by creating classically-influenced music with strong melodies and technical prowess. The group recently released 'The Odyssey,' its sixth album. Sanctity is a melodic thrashcore band Encompass was formed in Alexandria, Virginia by four musicians of diverse musical and cultural backgrounds, coming together in March 2001. Their unique sound has allowed them to share the stage with several metal bands such as Sonata Arctica and Seven Witches, to the progressive rock giants Spock's Beard and Zero Hour. Echoes of Eternity is five-piece hardcore metal band from Los Angeles.
