Symphonicity: Ode to Joy February 27, 2011

The Symphony Orchestra of Virginia Beach will be joined by the Symphonicity Chorus for a beautiful choral and symphonic concert. The Orchestra will perform Symphony in B minor, D.759 by Schubert, and the chorus and orchestra will perform Beethoven's renowned Ode to Joy, Symphony No. 9, Op. 125 in D Minor. Featured soloists are Amy Cofield Williamson, soprano; Bonnie Lambert Baxter, mezzo-soprano; Scott Williamson, tenor; and Chris Mooney, bass.
