Symbols of Power: Napoleon and the Art of the Empire Style, 1800-1815 August 16, 2007

This exhibition includes more than 150 extraordinary examples of furniture, silver, bronze, porcelain, jewelry, costume, textiles and wallpaper as well as drawings, paintings and sculpture. Drawing extensively on French collections, the exhibition includes many works which have never been exhibited outside France.
