Sydney Children's Choir August 16, 2007

The highly successful Sydney Children's Choir Choral Workshop Day will return to Riverside for the second year. Devised and led by the Sydney Children's Choir's internationally acclaimed Artistic Director Lyn Williams OAM, this workshop for children with treble voices in Years 5 - 8 includes session in choral skills development and Australian choral repertoire, composition and improvisation with Paul Jarman as well as a rhythm safari/drumming circle with Jeremy Cook. The day concludes with an early evening public performance which features the participants performing materials that they have learnt during the day as well as choirs from the Sydney Children's Choir's Choral Training Program. Please note this is not a concert of the full Sydney Children's Choir.
