Swingtopia is one of the best small bands on the scene today specializing in the instrumental music of the swing era. Doug and Cyndy Elliott are the co-leaders of this octet, which consists of some of the finest musicians in Washington DC who have been touring together with groups including the Artie Shaw Orchestra, the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, the Harry James Orchestra, and the Duke Ellington Orchestra, throughout the world, thrilling big band aficionados and swing dancers alike.
