A party dance band recently formed from long-time Bay Area swing players, SwingThing features two singers trading vocal leads and harmonizing with each other. Lisa Gonick and Cheryl McBride mix sizzling swing with a few slow-dance ballads and along the way cover East and West Coast swing, Lindy hop, cha-cha, jitterbug and other fun dance rhythms.
