Swing Dance Party January 28, 2011

DANCE PARTY:

8:30 - 12:00 Swing Dance Party including:

* 8:40 free Swing Basics lesson,
* hors d'oeuvres, cookies, goodies, refreshments,
* and DJ'd dancing on a chandelier-lit huge wood ballroom floor.

No partner and no dance experience needed. Lots of friendly people to dance with of all levels and ages.

WORKSHOP:

7:00 - 8:00 Lindy Hop: Fundamentals (Pre-req.: none... open to all) This Friday Tony will focus on the mechanics of 8-count, including swing outs, circles, promenades, and walks, using a new method of learning/teaching 8-count.

8:00 - 9:00 Lindy Hop: "Enhance your Dance" - Friday 1/28: Jazz Steps (Pre-req.: 7:00 Lindy Fundamentals or permission). This Friday Tony will be reviewing a super fun jazz routine and teaching how to incorporate fun footwork and rhythm variations including jazz steps and tap, into your Lindy.
