Sweet Honey In The Rock's debut performances at Jazz at Lincoln Center, 'Remembering Nina, Odetta, and Miriam,' will not only celebrate three distinct voices of the civil rights era, Nina Simone, Odetta, and Miriam Makeba, but for the first time they will also perform with instruments. The show will include songs presented in their signature a cappella style and several with a jazz trio featuring pianist and music director Stacey Wade, Patrick McAllister on bass, and Jovo Bell on drums/percussion.
