"Sweet Dreams Cake Challenge" January 15, 2009

The Griot Museum will host culinary creations by Chef Lisa Simpson of "Sweeties To Go." The cakes will embody the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The cakes will be on display at the museum on January 16-17 from 10am to 5pm and on the 19th, there will be a ceremony in celebration of Dr. King, our newly elected President Barack Obama and the name change of the museum. Cakes will be served on Jan. 19th!!
