Swedish-born crooner, Anders Holst returns to the distinguished NYC venue, Feinstein’s, on June 30th at 8:30PM. He plans to perform selections from his upcoming album and previous titles, Romantika and Five, as well as smooth and jazzy interpretations of familiar classics by Van Halen, Michael McDonald, and the Doobie Brothers. Holst’s music reveals his remarkable fondness for penning songs that are truly from and of the heart, enhanced by a genuine and refined pop sensitivity and an incomparable elegance. Both of his previous releases received critical acclaim from the likes of Billboard Magazine, Quincy Jones, Jazziz, and SmoothJazz.com.

Holst, who has been dubbed the “Sting of Stockholm” and likened to artists such as Robert Palmer, Leonard Cohen, and Harry Connick, Jr. was recently nominated for an American Smooth Jazz Award in the “International Male Vocalist” category (Visit www.americansmoothjazzawards.com to cast your vote.) and asked to perform on WNBC’s morning show “Weekend Today in New York”, on Sunday June 6th, which happens to be the National Day of Sweden!
