Sweater Upcycling Workshop July 7, 2012

This easy, 3-seam sewing project yields a sassy, slinky and versatile pencil skirt that fits like a glove!

Just steal that old Cosby sweater from your dad, boyfriend or roommate and I will show you how to reinvent it into a modern San Francisco layer.

We’ll provide the sewing machine and know-how, so you’ll just need to bring yourself and the following:
Sweater
Coordinating thread
Elastic (per size/weight of sweater)
Leggings (for modesty, there will be much trying-on and pinning with a buddy)
Tools: scissors, seam ripper, pins/pincushion, chalk, etc. if they have their own. If you don’t, let us know!
Noon to 3 PM – Be there!
