Swaranjal - 3 Day festival of Instrumental Ensemble and Choral music May 4, 2009

To commemorate the 150th Anniversary of First War of Independence, 1857 and the 60th Anniversary of Indias Independence, Sangeet Natak Akademi will present Swaranjali-a 3-day festival of Instrumental Ensemble and Choral music. Inaugration by: Shri Tejendra Khanna, Lt. Governor of Delhi. On the closing day, 6th May, 2009: Shri Jawhar Sircar, Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Government of India has consented to be the Chief Guest. Artists from different parts of the country will put a stimulating performance as a tribute to the martyrs, who sacrificed to give us our freedom and won independence for the country.
