Topic:
SVPMA will mark their 10-year anniversary with a panel discussion on the key role that product managers play in today’s organizations and the skills you need to succeed as a product manager in the next decade.

Presentation :
The role of a product manager has changed dramatically in the last decade. Several factors in product development and lifecycle practices have contributed to this. Agile practices, Etymology and Social Media have impacted on lifecycle management activities such as roadmap planning and feature prioritization. Value based pricing practices have changed how products are priced and technical trends such as software as a service, cloud computing, virtualization, and infrastructure as a service have impacted the basic go to market principles.

So has the basic skill sets to being a successful product manager changed? What do you need to succeed as a product manager in the next decade?

Come hear what the veterans and experts of the field have to say about the trends they see in product management and what you need to need to do in order to be a successful product manager in the next decade.
