The Panel:
• George Pavlov - General Partner at Tallwood. George brings broad experience in venture capital, private equity, operations and technology to Tallwood. His ability to take a high-level business perspective helps him guide portfolio companies through complex decisions. George spends a portion of his time thinking about how Tallwood can expand beyond its early stage venture practice, which helps the firm plan for the future.
Prior to joining Tallwood, George was CEO of eTime Capital, a troubled enterprise software and services company that he restructured to achieve optimal liquidation. Earlier, he was General Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Mayfield, a venture capital fund. Before that, he was the Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of Blum Capital Partners, a San Francisco-based private equity firm and registered investment advisor. George also held several financial and sales management positions at NeXT Computer, where he prepared industry and company strategic overviews, developed an expanded distribution strategy and managed customer satisfaction programs.
George serves on the boards of directors of Abound Logic, Alphion Corp., Amulaire Thermal Technology, Astute Networks, Audience Inc., Calypto Design Systems, Crossing Automation Inc., Ikanos, Ozmo Devices, Quintic Corporation and SVTC. George holds a B.S. in Accounting from Boston College.

• Navin Nagiah, President and CEO of DotNetNuke. Navin is a senior business executive with extensive marketing, strategy, and operational experience in high-technology enterprises in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Prior to joining DNN Corp., Navin served as President and CEO of CIGNEX, an open source ECM company, and was the founder, president, and CEO of Xisource, a San Francisco-based enterprise software company with offices in London and Mumbai. Before Xisource, he was one of the founding employees of Internet Securities Inc., where he set up the company’s operations in India, China, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia, and was the managing director for Asia at the time of the company's $60 million merger with Euromoney (LSE Symbol: ERM). Navin also has extensive experience as a board member/advisor of pre-IPO companies and holds a Master's degree in electrical engineering from Kansas State University.

• Asheem Chandna - Partner at Greylock. Asheem joined Greylock in 2003. His areas of interest span enterprise IT infrastructure, software and services. He has invested in companies in cloud computing, data center, electronic payments, networking, management, security and virtualization. Asheem's current company boards and investments include Aruba Networks, Delphix, Imperva, Palo Alto Networks, TechProcess, Singularity and Xsigo Systems. He is also on the board at Sourcefire (Nasdaq: FIRE).

Asheem joined Greylock from Check Point Software, where he was vice-president of business development and product management. During his 6+ year tenure, Check Point grew from $10M to $500M+ in annual revenues. Asheem founded the business development and product management organizations, led corporate marketing during high growth years and directed Check Point's product/business strategy, product management and industry partnerships. Asheem is also credited with creating, growing and leading Check Point's OPSEC Alliance into the largest and most successful security partner program in the IT industry.

Asheem is a charter member of TiE Silicon Valley. He is on the panel of judges for the Wall Street Journal Global Technology Innovation Awards, is on the advisory board and program committee for the RSA Conference and is part of the VC program at DeVenCI (Defense Venture Capital Initiative).
