New York, NY, September 5, 2008: The Sustainable Living Road Show (SLR) and Dr. Bronners present, Be the Change, a national tour launched the world's largest eco caravan on August 20th, 2008. Recently at both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions with protesting and debates all around one thing brought a sense of peace and unity to the event. The Sustainable Living Road Show was there helping to keep sustainability on the map during the time of the elections and bringing celebrations instead of protests. This eco friendly road show is a caravan of educators and entertainers touring the country in a fleet of 5-10 renewable fuel vehicles to empower communities and individuals to utilize sustainable living strategies for a healthier planet. Visiting k-12 schools, university campuses and community festivals across the United States, the caravan sets up off-the-grid eco-carnivals with experiential learning villages, featuring workshops, speakers and entertainment. http://sustainablelivingroadshow.org/media_photo.php?level=collection&id=5

SLR's Be the Change is launched by the organization, the Sustainable Living Roadshow, whose members have over 700,000 miles of collective sustainable fuels touring across the U.S., Central America, and West Africa. Additionally, with over 20 partner groups, SLR acts as a container for organizations and businesses leading the way in creating environmental and social change to come together and broaden our outreach and exposure.

With the success of films like the 11th hour and Inconvenient Truth, the rise of events such as Green Fest and Live Earth, combined with what seems to be unprecedented amounts of catastrophes like earthquakes, hurricanes, tornados, and tsunamis, the American Public are beginning to realize that Global Climate Change is a serious threat to human survival. People are now asking, "Now what? What's Next? What do we do about this?"

The Sustainable Living Road Show's Be the Change Tour models and brings the answers, and uses the platforms of festivals and entertainment to make learning fun! These events are designed to showcase the local options and solutions individuals and communities can utilize, right at home!

People get overwhelmed by the immensity of what we are facing. At a time when global warming, peak oil and economic recession are at the forefront of the American consciousness, the Sustainable Living Roadshow provides entertaining, informative, positive, and simple ways to live more sustainably and begin to lighten our impact on the planet.
