This exhibit features 30 colorful and intriguing quilts created by Susana Allen Hunter from the "fabric" of her everyday life in Alabama. Dating from the 1930s to the 1970s, her quilts also provide daily-life context to the experience of African Americans living in the Jim Crow South.
