This month Surya Dub welcomes 2 Bay Area Badmen. One local and one returning to the Bay!

Dov is no stranger to Bay area Heads, but this month at Surya Dub he performs as his Dubby-Dubsteppy-Bass-Heavy alterego ‘Big Dub Project!’ Dov began performing electronic music in 1996 as both a DJ and doing ‘chill’ sets with his Groovebox 303 and has become known as an urban futurist pushing multiple genres DJing around USA, in the EU and South Africa. He has headlined and featured alongside many luminaries of dance culture and has performed with: Freq Nasty, Andrew Weatherall, Keith Tenniswood, Tipper, Tayo, Atomic Hooligan, 10 Sui, Kraddy, Adam Freeland, BLIM, Modeselektor, Otto Von Schirach, Freestylers, Krafty Kuts, Boy George, Bassnectar, and many more.

Soulsalaam returns to the Bay to drop his latest remixes and ragga freak beats! He is a DJ, producer, percussionist & promoter hailing from San Francisco and currently residing in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Deeply immersed in the science of rhythm, he’s forging a sharp new hybrid of bass fueled electronica. Known for his mixing skills & sets with varied tempos, he infuses current electronic genres with Ragga vocals, Hip-hop, Mash-ups, Glitch, Grime, Breakbeat, Dub Step, & D’n’B. He has produced tracks as Soulsalaam, with Hypnomadic, Process Rebel, Other Weapons, has remixed Dr. Israel, Kid Beyond, Systemwide & mashed-up M.I.A., Lady Sovereign, Roots Manuva, General Levy, Ms. Thing & Spank Rock. His mash-up of Lady Sovereign’s “Random” is an underground club hit, being rocked on dance floors worldwide.
