1540 Broadway
New York, New York

For the first time since it's conception, the Charmin Restrooms will be open on New Year's Eve from 12AM to 2AM, offering the crowd of millions in Times Square a safe and accessible bathroom haven after the 2009 ball drops.

The millions who attend the New Year's Eve ball drop often position themselves in Times Square 5-10 hours before midnight.
City does not provide public restrooms, and nearby bars and restaurants often close early in the evening. Some tourists have admitted to wearing diapers to the event, while others have resorted to using bottles to relieve themselves.

Charmin chose to open their 20 restrooms to offer relief to the many individuals and families who have been waiting for hours to see the ball drop.
