In Medias Res is essentially a cinematic collaboration of contemporary dance, film, live projections and music and the artistic content of the performance is drawn from a number of sinuous influences. Through research the artists involved in the work have collectively formulated and presented an ideal, a mosaic of emotion vented through colour, effects, tributes and shared vices. The piece is directed to leave the audience feeling heartened, to encourage and also celebrate the understanding of shared common ground.
