AIAS QUAD CONFERENCE
The Ball State University chapter of American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is hosting the Midwests Spring Quad Conference on March 27-28, 2009, at the Sheraton City Centre hotel & conference center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Quad Conference is a semi-annual gathering of architecture students from schools within the AIAS Midwest Quadrant. The event offers students the opportunity to learn about issues facing architectural education and the profession, to meet other students and professionals with common interests, and to interact with todays leading architects. In keeping with our conference theme Indianapolis Crossroads Connecting People Through Design the event will also be open to Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Interior Design, Historic Preservation and Construction Management students from Ball State as well as alumni, current faculty, and AIA Indiana members. As part of the event, we will be hosting lectures, workshops, tours, and a Design Expo. It is in this regard that we are contacting YOU for support.
DESIGN EXPO
The Design Expo on the first day of the conference will incorporate participants from every facet of the design process including Architecture & Design firms. This experience will offer unlimited networking opportunities between YOU, and other design professionals, product suppliers/manufacturers, educators, and students.
We realize that not everyone will be able to attend the Design EXPO, but we appreciate your time and support of our programs. With your help, this event will not only benefit design students from throughout the Midwest, but also your companies. This is a chance for you to contribute to the future of the design community.
