This course will identify and explain the activities in physical distribution and analyze logistics systems from several different perspectives to meet different objectives. We will cover the different types of modeling approaches that may be used to gain insight into logistics network design and facility location. Further, we will formulate, model, and analyze a wide range of supply chain business problems using the mathematical programming techniques of linear programming, integer programming, nonlinear programming, and unified optimization methodology.
