Nemo presents Superstition: Art that Stands in Awe, a mixed media exhibit, curated by Nemo, opening Friday, June 5, 2009 6-10pm. The show will run through Monday, June 22, 2009 at Nemo- 1875 SE Belmont Street in Portland, OR.

Opening reception will include special musical guests.

Superstition highlights the work of illustration, print, drawing, painting and mixed media artists. The theme of the show is superstition, the excessive belief in magical and fantastical ideas. The word presented will demonstrate the ways in which art can foster a world of beliefs full of color and escape from the depression that exists in reality.
