METRO PARENT MAGAZINE’S CAMP FAIR MAKES IT EASY FOR FAMILIES TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT CAMP

Has your child always wanted to learn to ride a horse? Become Hollywood’s next diva or the captain of their team? Maybe you want them to simply have the best fun filled summer of their lives! Summer camp can be an investment in your child’s future. How do you find the best summer experience for your child?

For over twenty years, Metro Parent Magazine’s Super Summers for Kids: Camp & Activity Fairs have helped parents make good and educated choices for their children. This free event will be held in Ann Arbor on Saturday, January 29 at Washtenaw Community College in the Morris Lawrence Building and on Sunday, January 30, at the Birmingham Conference Center in Beverly Hills. Both fairs run from 11:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. This fair is designed to help parents plan a summer to remember for their children. Families attending the event can also register to win an iPod Touch or a Flip Camera to record special summer memories.

Choosing the perfect program for your children is a difficult and intimidating procedure. Every camp showcases their smiling campers involved in all sorts of exciting activities on their websites, but which is right for your child? Camp Fair gives parents the chance to meet face to face and get to know counselors and administrators who will be supervising their children. Families will have a chance to ask questions about their programs and explore all the possibilities.

Camp Fair is one-stop shopping. Find out about the multitude of exciting and educational opportunities available that will best fit your child. What will entertain and educate your kids this summer? Do you have children with different or special needs and interests? Camp Fair caters to all children and is your opportunity to discover the diverse programs available.

These events will showcase over 60 U.S. and Canadian camps, including both day and overnight programs. Many specialty camps such as computer, sports, college research, and theatre will be there to satisfy every personality. Several new camps will attend this highly anticipated event, including unique programs for children with special needs and exciting options for teens. In addition, high school and college students interested in summer employment will also have the opportunity to attain valuable information through an enriching summer job.

The event is presented by Metro Parent Magazine. It is sponsored by McDonalds and the Michigan Education Savings Plan.
