In 2002 Matt Morales moved from Slidell, Louisiana to San Francisco, California with one goal in mind: to not move back to the South. With that modest dream and nothing to lose, Matt began performing at the local stand-up-open mic scene while going to college. Since then Matt has performed at clubs such as the Improv, Cobb's and The Punch Line as well as appeared at Portland's Bridgetown Comedy Festival and Scotland's Edinburg Festival Fringe. His act has been described as droll and self-deprecating by some, odd and offensive by others (mostly himself). He finds that people laugh regardless of how his humor is interpreted.
