The Welsh unit Super Furry Animals was one of the first post-alternative bands, fusing together a number of disparate musical genres (including power pop, punk rock, techno, and progressive rock) to create a shimmering, melodic, irreverent, and willfully artsy rock 'n' roll sound. The Fiery Furnaces are a rock band that has played around the world and has a growing fanbase. Armed with a drum set, a bass guitar, a myriad of toy keyboards, guitar peddles, mixers, and even a 35 mm film synchronizer, this band creates a unique and unforgettable sound.
