It’s 7pm at the Sunset Pier and you’re enjoying an ice cold cocktail, gazing out over the glistening water. The refreshing salt air breezes are carrying you off as if you are living a dream. As the boats are leaving the harbor for sunset sails, the fishing boats are returning from a hard fought day on the reef. But there is one boat that seems to be heading home to our marina. It’s a shrimp boat from the FishBuster’s fleet that’s dropping off today’s catch of Key West Pink Gold. You think to yourself “It can’t get any fresher than this.”
When the shrimp is delivered, Sunset Pier will be steaming them up straight from the boat. Then we will be serving them directly to you piping hot. Join us on Tuesday’s for the Sunset Pier Summer Shrimp Spectacular. $5 will get you a 1/2# of the freshest Key West Pinks served with a full ear of corn and a side of cole slaw. The boat will arrive around 7:00pm give or take and the shrimp will be ready as soon as they are steamed.
