Chow down and fill up on a plethora of street and artisan foods, taste an array of award-winning wines, learn something new from the best celebrity chefs, and view the ‘Cargotecture’ House along with other exhibits that celebrate the West’s most exciting innovators in the worlds of food, design, garden and wine. Highlights:
• Rick Bayless & Other Chefs: Nine celebrity chefs, including Rick Bayless, Charles Phan, and Traci Des Jardins will be joining Sunset for cooking demonstrations throughout the weekend. For a complete list check out http://www.sunset.com/cw
• “Cargotecture” House: Visitors will be able to view Seattle-based HyBrid Architecture’s humbling 192 square-foot studio cottage made from a shipping container complete with living space and sleeping for four, kitchen, bathroom and broad covered decks.
• One-Block Feast: Sunset’s James Beard award-winning One-Block Feast will be the basis of a series of seminars and exhibits with editors and special guests sharing their personal triumphs, challenges and adventures in yard-to-table living.
• Wine Seminar Courtyard: Join Sunset’s wine editor, Sara Schneider, on a journey through Napa, Sonoma and Livermore Valley. Seminars will run on a first come first served basis.
