Bristol Concert Orchestra bring a little bit of Spain to Bristol this summer with their vibrant post-siesta afternoon concert on Sunday 19 June, featuring Rimsky-Korsakov's sparkling Capriccio Espagnol, Ravel's much-loved Boléro and, via Latin America, the exuberant Symphonic Dances from Bernstein's blockbuster musical 'West Side Story'.
Exciting young flautist Laura Lucas adds a French touch with Chaminade's exquisite Concertino for Flute and Debussy's enchanting 'Syrinx'.
This concert of two halves (each under 45 minutes) of sparkling, tuneful music is perfect for children & families. Tickets, priced £8-£13 (children £1), are available from St George's Bristol: 0845 40 24 001
