Sumter County Beef and Boogie Festival November 4, 2011

The first Sumter County Beef and Boogie Festival is a weekend of live music, savory grilled beef, fun family activities, and a celebration of Sumter County's cattle beef industry.

Dates: Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5, 2011
Hours: Friday: 5pm to 10pm; Saturday: 10am to 10pm
Location: Sumter County Farmers Market, Webster, Florida
Activities: Live Country, Bluegrass and Southern Rock music; burger and brisket cookoffs (amateur and professional); amusement rides; educational displays; a beauty pageant; a monster truck, craft, food and merchandise vendors.
Entertainment: Country singer Jim Van Fleet and The Reign ("Thousand Miles Of Road," "Living Florida Country"), the Dan Story Band, the Todd Brown Band, Fullers Cross, Still Kickin’ Bluegrass Band, Jerico, and a nationally know country music headliner.
