Sumptuous Strings-Le Triomphe de l'Amour January 7, 2007

New England String Ensemble extends the holiday season with a concert of opulent splendor. The concert beings with Lully’s sparkling Le Triomphe de l’Amour, followed by Jakoulov’s Concerto for Viola featuring Michael Zaretsky of the BSO. The program concludes with Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtumusik and Brahms’ emotionally charged Liebeslieder Waltzes.

“Conversation with Cortese” begins 45-minutes prior to concert start. A reception with the players will follow the concert.
