Summit Fire Department's 100 Year Festival August 9, 2007

The Summit Fire Department turns 100 years old in 2007. We plan on making the celebration an event that will have people talking for another century. We'll kick off the festivities Thursday August 9th at 5:00p.m. with a carnival, tons of food, and live entertainment until 10:00p.m. We rev things up again on Friday night, all day Saturday and again on Sunday. We've also planned a parade and a major fireworks display. Don't miss a single event!

MEGA PASSES will be sold June 2nd through August 8th. Passes can be purchased at the Summit Park District offices located at 5700 South Archer Road -(708) 496-1012 or directly from the Fire Department. The cost will be $50.00 each and will entitle the purchaser to unlimited rides at the carnival all 4 days of the event.
