SUMMER’S LAST CALL;
End of Summer Celebration to be held September 24, 2011

Richmond Volleyball Club in conjunction with 98.9 Liberty and Be Social Richmond is announcing the Summer's Last Call celebration. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2011 and is ideal anyone looking for one last summer celebration with food, beverage, music & amateur sports competitions. Sports tournaments will include competitive Outdoor (grass) Volleyball, indoor “Rookie” Volleyball, and outdoor Cornhole Tournament. If you’re looking for indoor entertainment, RVC has 4 big screen televisions airing your favorite college football games and 8 taps featuring prominent domestic and imported brews and microbrews. Admission is free for all spectators!
The 6-player coed, Outdoor Volleyball Tournaments and 2-player Cornhole Tournament will take place at Richmond Volleyball Club's facilities located at 2921 Byrdhill Road in Henrico County. Advance registration is strongly encouraged for all sports competitions due to limited space and popularity of the events in the past. Spaces in all events fill early – don’t miss out! Tournament winners for the outdoor competitions will receive cash prizes. Teams may also enter and play for their college alma mater in any of the competitions. The school which accumulates the most points from winning participants will receive a special “party package” as well as a year’s worth of bragging rights for their alma mater.

Entry fees for sports competitions are as follows: $200 per team for competitive, Outdoor Volleyball; $25 per team for Cornhole Tournament; and $15 per player for indoor Rookie Volleyball is $15. All sports registrations must be received by September 9th.

The Richmond Volleyball Club is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to developing athletes of all ages for amateur volleyball competition.
