Summer Wines Tasting: Comparing Whites and Roses June 24, 2009

An evening of Rose and Whites, for what will hopefully be, a warm summer evening-since it will officially be summer June 21st!

Diane will be treating us to some great wines from Oregon, France and Italy. She may have a new Rose Prosecco that is supposed to be here in June so hopefully that will be one of the choices. She says it is so good! Then we will have an Oregon and French rose, and a white from each place too. Maybe the Prosecco to compare with the rose Prosecco (same producer) then two non-sparkling whites.

Complementary nuts or crackers to all, and then if people want cheese or more substantial food they can order off the menu. Bread with olive oil, olives and marcona almonds for $3 each. Meat or cheese plate is $8, french onion soup for $6, panini style sandwiches for $7 and quiche for $8 (both with salad). Other things too.
