Summer Solstice BBQ Party June 21, 2009

The Humanist Society of Santa Barbara invites everyone to their annual Summer Solstice BBQ, outdoors in Stow Grove Park, Goleta. Please leave your religion at home and instead bring an appetizer or dessert. All who consider themselves Humanist, atheist, skeptic, agnostic, or freethinker will be especially welcome.

The event will begin at 1:30pm with snacks, appetizers and socializing, while professional chefs cook tri-tip, chicken, and more. Please bring your choice of beverages.

After enjoying the barbeque lunch, there will be fun games both intellectual and silly, with prizes.

1:30pm Sunday, June 21st in Area #2, Stow Grove Park, 580 North La Patera Lane (near Cathedral Oaks Road), Goleta.

$15 per person, $10 each Humanist Society member, kids under 12 free. Cash or check accepted on the day of the event; sorry, no credit cards.
